RECIPE: GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE GRILLED CHEESE
Grandma’s green bean casserole. Your Fried French onions. Back-of-fridge cheddar slices. Yep, sandwichable.
This gooey goodness may just win as the world’s best way to get your veggies in. Mayo on the inside and outside of the sammie is an absolute must for any great grilled cheese.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE GRILLED CHEESE
Ingredients:
2 slices of sourdough bread
Sir Kensington’s Avocado Oil Mayonnaise
Leftover cheese board cheddar cheese
Leftover green bean casserole
Fried onions
Directions:
- Coat both sides of two pieces of sliced sourdough bread with Sir Kensington’s Avocado Oil Mayonnaise
- On one slice of bread, stack cheddar cheese, leftover green bean casserole, and extra fried onions. Top with the other slice of bread
- Cook grilled cheese in a hot pan on the stove top, pressing down to ensure maximum crispiness and even browning
- Once the first side is well browned, flip grilled cheese and repeat
